PROGRAM NAME : ADVANCED AESTHETICS PROGRAM

( This program is a Designated Learning Program and eligible to receive foreign nationals on a study permit. )

 

The objectives of the ADVANCED AESTHETICS PROGRAM are specifically designed for international students who wish to study in Canada and learn unique professional skills in Advanced Beauty Technique.

This program is to develop the student the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional attitudes necessary for success in the profession and to qualify and equip the student to reach the international standard of Esthetics. After the graduate has successfully passed the exam, they are qualified to work as a World Wide Certified Beauty Technician.

 

The ADVANCED AESTHETICS PROGRAM  is 18 months ( 1.5 years ) in length. The maximum time to complete this program is 2 years. The program provides a wide range of student learning opportunities in the classroom, spa and workplace settings. Students will gain hands-on practical experience working with clients in the Aesthetics Pro Spa.  Industry work experience provides students with additional opportunities to apply their knowledge and technical skills in a workplace setting. When students have developed a professional attitude, show competency in practical procedures, and have completed ALL required service hours of both practical and theory training and have completed assignments set by the school in their course of study, will be eligible for graduation.

Participation is integral to the development of practical skills in this program; therefore, students assume the role of client, therapist and spa coordinator. Work practicum offers students spa industry work experience, opportunities to practice knowledge and skills learned at the college and potential for employment.

Program Duration and Maximum Time for Completion

The ADVANCED AESTHETICS PROGRAM is 18 months in length and is offered in a progression of 8 courses. 

The maximum time to complete this program is 2 years.
